Gwen is an experienced and dedicated Senior Speech Pathologist with a background in Psychological Science and a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology. Her interest in the field was sparked by a personal experience—observing the life-changing impact of speech pathology services provided to her father following vocal cord damage. This experience shaped her commitment to empowering individuals through communication.

Career Journey

Gwen has three years of clinical experience across hospital, private practice, and community settings, where she has worked with clients across the lifespan. Her clinical areas of expertise include voice, language, speech sound disorders, fluency (stuttering), and literacy.

She holds additional qualifications in Gender Diverse and Transgender Healthcare (La Trobe University) and Psychosocial Voice Disorders (University of Sydney) and has completed further training in trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming care. Gwen is committed to delivering personalised, evidence-based interventions that are responsive to the individual needs, identities, and goals of her clients. Gwen enjoys being a Speech Pathologist and finds it incredibly rewarding to be able to help her clients make meaningful change in their lives.

Gwen has a particular clinical interest in supporting gender diverse clients, and in working with children from trauma backgrounds, including in contexts that involve communication with key stakeholders such as law enforcement or child protection services. 

Outside of her professional practice, Gwen enjoys running, reading, and exploring Sydney’s pastry scene in search of the city’s best croissant.
